Back story/additional notes (2015): Reading it, I really feel distant from it because I don't feel any connection to cishet characters, really, but what I found interesting was Roberta drawing on her arms which is a way for people to not self-harm, which is rather effective and then that kind of rises on what is actually the backstory or metaphors in the story, since the story deals with a lot of death and a suicide analogy or mentions of self-harm relief makes it interesting, kind of adds an extra layer really.
